A Friday Night filled with Fun!
For those of you who didn't know, my husband recently started a new job(yay) and is working 3rd shift. So far Jack has been doing great about having his daddy gone at night! And tonight he happily said "bye-bye" when his daddy had to leave and even gave him a quick kiss and then promptly shut the door on him! lol
And since it's Friday Night and daddy is gone i thought that we'd have a movie night! But first we needed to eat dinner and then play outside since it was beautiful out!
Well dinner went great! He ate all his food(even the broccoli)! Then we ran around on the grass for awhile but once i was ready for a rest he decided it was time to start being a bad boy! He started pulling up grass, and then digging holes in the ground which resulted in him getting covered in dirt and in trouble. So we decided to go inside and play. Once inside i realized that he was STINKY!!! So i changed him. Then he found his hat and decided to wear it. Which is great since i had no idea where his hat was since it's been missing for a few days!
But what do you do when your 2 yr old is bored and keeps getting into trouble and you don't want to just set them in front of the TV???
Well, a while ago we made some homemade play dough and tonight i decided to pull it out and let him have some fun! And since daddy wasn't home and the floor was clean i thought that I'd just let him play on the floor.

Well, a while ago we made some homemade play dough and tonight i decided to pull it out and let him have some fun! And since daddy wasn't home and the floor was clean i thought that I'd just let him play on the floor.
Which was perfect since he was having a BLAST!
Except that his water bottle had fallen over and was leaking water all over the floor. Which then resulted in the play dough turning into this...icky sticky stuff!
Which he then spread all over me, my clean floor, then my couch, and my camera and of course himself! So the icky sticky kid got a bath!
Which was probably his favorite part! But then i decided to just give in and let him watch his movie even though it was verily 6pm!!
Which i guess is okay since he does love Monsters Inc. and i personally love a happy kid!
I'm thinking that he might be sleepier then i thought! So maybe I'll be able to get him to bed on time tonight without to much work!
Isn't he cute?
So here is a list of quick and easy homemade play dough recipes for you and your kids!
Oh, and here's a look at yesterday's Dirt Experience! When i found him he was covered in dirt/mud so i decided to take his clothes off so i could just run him inside to the sink. Well he decided to just take off the diaper! And of course, once the diaper is gone every boy has to itch!
I hope you are having as much fun as i am this weekend!

New Scarfs!!
Guess What? New Scarfs have been added to my Shop! Aren't they CUTE??
I had a customer buy a Scarf this week and since i was pulling out fabric to make one i thought that i might as well go ahead and make the others that i had planned!
Each scarf turned out completely different then how i planned. But that's okay since i personally love them all!
So here's a quick look at each one!
This one turned out so...delicate and cute! I just can't help but smile when i look at it!
I think it lays so cutely when i wear it! It did turn out a little shorter then what i was expecting but that's easy to fix for anyone who would like it longer!
This Scarf is just so much fun! And I'm glad that at the last minuet i decided to do three rows down the middle instead of just one since i think it adds that extra touch of "Funk" to it!
It's a little short and kind fat! But it sure looks good when you wear you!
If you would like this Scarf longer Please let me know!
This Scarf just screams DRAMA to me! It is so incredibly LONG at 92" long!
And with the ruffled diamond design in the middle it's prefect to add that touch of class to your outfit!
So what do you think? Which Scarf is your favorite?

A Work in Progress!
Hi Everyone!
So I've been working on a few projects! And I'm happy to say that I've finished them! BUT...they didn't turn out as planned. :~( But i guess that's to be expected when you make something for the very first time. Everyone makes mistakes and thankfully i now know what and how to fix them!
So here's what i made!!
A Purse & Matching Wallet!
The purse turned out really cute! But unfortunately it has some flaws.
On the next one, i plan to add outside pockets and make longer/nicer handles! If you would like a purse by this design PLEASE let me know! There are also inside pockets.
The Matching Wallet actually turned out really great!
But unfortunately i placed the closing snap to high up so it doesn't look right when it closes.
But i really love the inside!
And the different credit card slots are perfect for keeping things organized!!
So even though my ideas didn't turn out 100% right all my hard work didn't go to waste!! My family paid us a visit today and brought along my brothers girlfriend Kayla! And she happily took these items home with her! And the "to short strapes" actually worked for her! I hope she enjoys them!
What do you think of these items?
I can't wait to make more and fix all the things that i didn't love! So thanks for being patient while i work on getting another purse design up for sale!!

And i promise that it will have your kids reaching for more!!
Well look no farther because after some hard work of combining a few different recipes i have finally made the perfect one!!
And i promise that it will have your kids reaching for more!!
So here is what you need for my Banana Streusel Muffins!
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon grounded cinnamon(optional)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice(optional)
1/4 salt
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
3/4 cup banana, mushed (about 3 bananas)
Oh, and don't forget to preheat your oven to 400*!
In a medium bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Like this:
Then in another bowl combine egg, milk, and oil. Add the egg mixture all at once to the floor mixture.
Stir until just moistened. The batter should be lumpy. It should look like this:
Next add the banana!!!!
My family enjoys more banana so instead of 3 bananas i used 5 which came to about 1 1/4 cup.
To grease the muffin pan i used my trusty friend Pam!
Spoon batter into the muffin pan, filling each about two-thirds full. Like this:
Now, if you don't prefer the streusel topping then go ahead and place theses in the oven for 15-18 minutes!! But if you would like to add some extra crunch here's how!
In a small bowl combine:
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Then cut in 2 tablespoons of butter.
You can also add chopped pecans or walnuts if you like!
Then sprinkle the Streusel topping over the muffin batter.
Then bake for 15-18minutes until muffins are golden brown!
Then let cool but be sure to serve them warm and with butter!!
Not only are they one of my favorites but my son Jack LOVES them too! I hope you and your family enjoy these fantastic muffins as much as we do!

Peter Pan
Peter Pan is Jack's favorite movie lately! And if you ask him what movie he would like to watch he will tell you "P-Pen" which is super super cute! But then again I'm his momma so i tend to think that just about everything is super cute! ;~)
But since he loves Peter Pan so much I've been thinking that he might enjoy a costume! I know that he's not quite at the age for dressing up. But he is 2!! So dressing up days(in boyish costumes) should hopefully be right around the corner! Right?! Or am i just being a crafty mom who is dying to make her kid a Peter Pan costume just because i can?! I think I'll keep my eyes open for discounted fleece sales!!
Have you made your kids any costumes? What did you make them? Did they enjoy it?
